We are thrilled to announce our new collaboration with BioTna, a leading company in Taiwan specializing in pathology services and the production of high-quality staining kits. BioTna’s expertise in creating their own staining solutions will allow us to offer innovative and reliable slide and stain packages tailored for various pathology and clinical needs.
BioTna will be providing us with four distinct slide and stain packages, each designed for specific applications:
BioTna Collaboration Packages
Package 1 (Vivid Contrast Panel): A staining package that offers vibrant colour contrasting, designed for customers with high demand in colouring. A group of colours that more commonly used for Clinical applications.
Package 2 (High-Resolution Panel)Designed for observing cell nuclei and fine structural tissues, very suitable for customers with high-resolution requirements, especially at 800x magnification.
Package 3 (Standard Research Panel): Includes several reagent kits widely used in research, covering the most commonly used reagents in cartilage, immunology, and neurology studies. The colour composition consists of the usual light blue, pink, and metachromatic staining reagents.
Package 4 (Comprehensive Panel Plus): Package 1 – 3 all combined with two additional slides with special staining.

We’re also excited to highlight the enhanced color capabilities offered through our Motic scanner. BioTna, one of our first purchasers, has been able to expertly fine-tune the color settings to bring out the best in the staining on each slide. This adjustment to the color settings can significantly improve the clarity and vividness of the stained slides, making it easier to detect subtle differences and enhance diagnostic results.
By simply adjusting the color settings, we are able to make the stained details stand out more clearly, offering a dramatic improvement in visual quality.
